cosmopolis includes: 1. The cosmopolis game board: a 18" x 26" World Map (as displayed on the game box). 2. The cosmopolis card deck: 60 regional cities and 13 linking cities in distinctive colors front and back of the cards. 3. Some of the games: Beginning games (cosmopolis junior): Cosmople Fish: A geographic version of traditional Go Fish. For 5 and 6 year olds and all first time players to learn the card deck. Region Rummy: Collect 3, 4 or 5 regional city cards of the same color to score 7, 15 or 30 points. Trade cards with other players. A starter game leading to more advanced games. 8 to 10 year olds like this one. Pandemonium: A fast moving, raucous, action game of trading to collect all the cards of a particular region.  8 to 10 year olds love it, but a fun party game, too.

Advanced games:

Connections: With the linking cards, collect up to 11 cities. The points can go up to 1000. Do this by forming an alliance around a linking city with another player. Make more alliances.  Trade cards with other players.

Globe Works: Build the longest global networks of ocean freighters, banks, energy transmission, information or airlines resources using the icons on each card.
